Itinerary

Day 01: Pokhara to Marpha Drive, explore the typical town of Marpha. 

Day 01 begins from Pokhara and enjoy a wonderful drive through the magnificent street of Hemja. You pass Kushma (the district center of Parbat) and Beni (the district center of Myagdi). Driving further, you pass Tatopani (Tatopani has got a natural hot spring, which is believed to be the best cure of various skin diseases). Driving ahead, you will experience some of the best off-roading sections of Nepal that offer jaw-dropping cliffs. Entering the Mustang region, the landscape is plain and the Himalayan views begin to appear close and dazzling. You pass Lete, Kobang, Larjung and reach Marpha. Marpha is also known as the apple garden, which offers its typical brand- Marpha Brandy. Reaching Marpha, you will get an opportunity to explore the inner beauties of the typical Marpha town. Overnight at the hotel.










Day 02: Marpha to Muktinath Drive via Jomsom and Kagbeni, Visit Dhumba Lake, and back to Marpha/Lete. 

Driving from Marpha, you reach Jomsom in 20 minutes drive. Jomsom is the district center of the Mustang district. It has got an airport, banks, cafes, hotels, and restaurants. Driving 30 minutes ahead, you reach Kagbeni, which is an antique Tibetan Buddhist settlement at the juncture of two Rivers. It is a sacred town for Hindu devotees. Stopping at the selfie point of the Kagbeni hilltop, you can take amazing pictures of the Kagbeni valley. Kagbeni is also the gateway to Upper Mustang Lomanthang. 

Kagbeni to Muktinath temple is about 30 min drive ahead, which is located at 3700 meters altitude. Getting off from the jeep, you need to walk about 25 minutes ahead, which escorts you all the way to the Muktinath temple (3750 meters). Taking a holy bath under 108 water sprouts and dipping into the holy ponds, the devotees believe that all your sins will be washed away. 

After paying homage at the temple, drive back to Jomsom and divert towards Dhumba Lake. It is a beautiful lake located at the bosom of Mt. Nilgiri (6839 meters), 5 km south of Jomsom. The lake remains frozen in the mid-winter. Visit the Lake, drive back to Marpha, and stay overnight. Marpha offers abundant attractions that you will not feel a couple of nights sufficient for you.

Day 03: Marpha/Lete to Pokhara. 

The jeep ride is great to go downhill with the exhilarating view of Mt. Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, and Tilicho Peak. You will stop at Rupse waterfall on the way. While driving towards Pokhara, you can visit the world one of the most thrilling bungy sites at Kushma. Then drive to Pokhara, where the tour ends.
